We'll talk about your ideas, inspirations, and the story behind your gown.
If you have only an abstract idea and are not sure what's possible, a Vintage Consultation is the best place to start.

If the changes you want to make are straight forward, and are able to be formed on you, we will begin pinning.
​
If not, we will take measurements and hammer out the exact details of the changes you want to make.
We carefully begin deconstructing your gown, then, with expert skill and care, transform it into something new.

More involved re-stylings may require extra fittings at this point.
You come for your final try-on and we make sure everything fits, and you are happy. Most brides take their dresses home this day. If anything needs adjusting we will get it done as soon as possible.

A new gown, reimagined from the fabric you love.
For brides who want a completely new design using their vintage fabric. This is a fully bespoke process... from initial sketches to pattern making and every detail in between.

RESTYLING TIMELINE
TURN-AROUND TIME
Our turnaround time is approximately 4-6 months in advance for basic restyling, and 8 months (possibly more) for custom restyling.
