We see you in the gown, assess the fit, and discuss what needs to be adjusted as well as give you an estimate.
We pin you in the gown and give you the pricing for the alterations. Most gowns require only one fitting. More complex alterations may require some extra TLC
We carefully complete your alterations with attention to every detail.
You come for your final try on and we make sure everything fits and you are happy. Most brides take their dresses home this day. If anything needs adjusting we will get it done as soon as possible.

ALTERATIONS PRICING
Because every gown is different, exact pricing cannot be given until we see you in the dress.
These ranges are here to help you plan.
SIMPLE ALTERATIONS
$500—$800
For gowns that already fit fairly well and need straight-forward adjustments.
• Basic fitting adjustment:
• Simple side seam take-ins
• Non-complicated hems
• Basic bustles
• Minor strap or shoulder adjustments
ADVANCED ALTERATIONS
$800—$1200
For gowns that require more involved fitting, shaping, or have a complex construction.
• Resizing
• Reshaping bust
• Side seam take-ins
• Basic bustles
• Hemming 3+ layers
• Working with boning, lace, beading or delicate fabrics.

CUSTOM WORK & MAJOR ALTERATIONS
$1,200—$2,500+
For gowns that require design changes, structural reworking, extensive handwork & custom patter making
• Adding custom sleeves
• Adding or replacing lining
• Extreme resizing
• Significant restyling or transformation
• Custom modesty work or build-ups
• Very heavy dresses

During this appointment, we will see you in the dress, look over the construction, discuss the alterations needed, and give you an estimate.
ALTERATIONS TIMELINE
TURN-AROUND TIME
Our current turnaround time is approximately 6 weeks from your first fitting.
BOOKING RECOMMENDATION
We recommend booking your first fitting about 2 months before your wedding date.
CUSTOMIZATIONS
If you would like to add customizations to your gown, please book at least 4 months in advance.
VINTAGE REMAKES
For vintage gown restyling, we recommend booking 4-6 months in advance, or possibly more, depending on the amount of customization.
